Latest version of Android,Kitkat

After Ice Cream Sandwich(4.0) and Jelly Bean(4.1-4.3) now new version Kitkat is announced(4.4) Google did not jump to 5.0 because simply it does not worth it.

There are changes in new version. Kitkat is light and super fast its user interface is very smooth. Kitkat is only available for Google Nexus 5. It take almost 21 seconds to boot for Google Nexus 5 on 4.4 Android while Galaxy S3 take 40 seconds to boot on 4.3 Android. So it is fast. Kitkat require only 512mb ram minimum to run. New version is said to be bettered memory managed, some improvements and bug fixes made it smoother. Now you only have to say "Ok Google" to launch Google Now from lock screen. Smarter Caller ID, if incoming call is from unknown number phone will automatically search and detect number.

So new version is quite good. Kitkat will be available soon for Nexus 4,7 and 10. Samsung Glaxy S4 and HTC One X are also expected to upgrade on this version.

Nokia announces new Android based Phones...WHY?

Recently Nokia announces new Android based phones. 3 models X,XL,X+ were unveiled by C.E.O of Nokia in Barcelona.

All of them are using AOSP Android Open Source project. So they are running on Android Operating Systems and can run Android app
s, but without Google services which means no apps can be downloaded form Google App Store but users can download apps from Nokia App store or third party like Yandex store or Slideme. Because they are not like common Android devices and are not fulfilling Google conditions. Their operating systems are much like Windows. So they did not get access to Google services.

As Nokia's Windows phones did not go successful so they are going with android. These phones have android based systems but have more look of windows. They come with preloaded features of Microsoft. One month free Skype calling, Outlook.com email, and access to 10gb Google drive. They made a clever move because after launching these devices people will get familiar with Windows phone, So window will get famous.

These phones are cheaper as compare to their specifications. Nokia XL is available for $150 having 5mp  and 2mp secondary camera, 1gb Ram and 4gb internal memory with dual core CPU. Samsung,Sony etc. phones of these specifications are expensive. So these phones are going are expected to make entry in developing countries.
